首先 介紹一下WordPress背景
WordPress開始於2003年，當時只有一些簡單的原始碼，及少部分的使用者。WordPress的根源及開發可以推回到2001年，WordPress是由b2/cafelog發展而來，一個建立在PHP和MySQL上的個人發佈系統，遵循通用公共許可證（GPL）授權，它是一個日漸成熟及穩定的產品，專注於用戶體驗及網頁標準，與眾不同。
WordPress其特色為易用、快速，一群數量龐大且活躍的用戶群體，創造出無數的佈景主題及外掛，正因如此，WordPress能夠在有限的框架下展現出更多樣化的功能。

上一課學會了WordPress 功能包括：
自訂網站佈景主題
- 模版：WordPress使用模版來動態產生頁面，可以使用佈景主題編輯器或是模版標籤來自訂網誌內容的顯示方式。
- 外觀編輯器：WordPress內建編輯器能輕鬆修改佈景主題，省下上傳檔案的時間。
- 模版標籤：模版標籤可以很輕鬆設計要如何顯示網誌內容，甚至不用精通PHP。
- 佈景主題：使用現有的佈景主題來裝飾網誌。當然也可以建立、分享自製的佈景主題。
- 外掛：外掛可以擴展現有的WordPress功能，目前已有許多開發完成的外掛，幾乎能滿足所有需求。(eg. google doc etc.)
建立網頁內容
- 工具列：也能使用瀏覽器的側邊欄來發佈內容。
- 文章代稱：如果使用簡潔的固定網址，那麼可以自訂每篇文章代稱。
- 文章分頁：文章太長沒關係，WordPress內建文章分頁功能。
- 分類：使用不同的分類、子分類來組織文章。
- 預覽文章：在發佈前可以使用預覽功能來查看效果。
- 儲存草稿：把未完成的內容暫時存檔，等到完成後在發佈上去。

From my point of view, WordPress is a good tools for building up a webpage for posting something,and let readers add comments, so that students can share their own views and constructing their knowledge through different posting's comments and discussion.

I remembered the old days when I first encounter simple HTML codes. It was really a hard job for a novice to build a website. Today, with WordPress (in fact I like Google Sites more), users need not worry technical details to build good-looking websites. As a MEd student, if I don't take this MITE course, I don't think I will take the initiatives to try WordPress nor Google Sites. Now I am motivated to build my own teaching website after this course. Hopefully the group project website will be the blueprint of my future teaching website.
回覆刪除By the way, WordPress supports to build a class blog, somewhat like a discussion forum. So collaborative learning is possible, but of course, by no means easy.

刪除我覺得WordPress的確是一個簡單易用的Web 2.0工具，用以建構教學網站、Web Quest等非常易學又簡便。惜現今小學資訊科技課程，大部分學校仍主力教授利用Web Editor如Fontpage，Dreamweaver等軟件用以製作網頁，本人並非否定這些網頁製作軟件的性能及學習價值，但我覺得可以策劃設計以Google Site或Word Press等Web 2.0工具學習課程，使學生早日接觸有效、簡單又易用的Web 2.0工具呢。
回覆刪除多謝你的意見, 我亦覺得小學學習編寫網頁,不應該再停留學習以往的舊式軟件,不但功能少和多限制, 難發揮創意思維, 所以運用一些容易明白,功能多和易使用的工具, 不但可以令同學更有興趣學習, 亦可提高創意思維.
刪除個人認為WordPress是好用的，只是系統速度比較慢。不過比較從前用Dreamweaver寫網頁，WordPress實太很方便，免費又有很多Web2.0的插件。除了WordPress外，最近愛上了Joolma這個系統，雖然要自行管理伺服器，但論資料保安、執行速度及彈性則遠遠超越WordPress.有貸趣可到以下網址看看。

People use WordPress not only for their individual blog also for communicating and collaborating with others. So specific uses in education.
回覆刪除In the view of personal, teacher can post their journal or post their teaching practice, methodologies. Student use blog to discover work and joy share their ideas and feedback from others also can build up improvement.
Teacher can through the WordPress provide platform communicate with students, parents, or others. The blog can be a courses teach and post homework or other assignments. Help parents understand what their children are working on and students who have been absent from class.
In Web 2.0, a lot of features can develop for teaching. Plugins can be download and easy to install to help teacher create quiz and grade book, so student and parent can monitor students' academic progress in class.
